It happened so fast, first you would grin, then you would laugh
I saw the spark in the beginning and I waited for the flame
then it came
The fire burned our lips, to the tips of our toes
we fumbled and crumbled in eachothers hands
and we landed on the floor, our arms wrapped, and
our tonuges tied, no room for lies
just the passion that happened
out of nowhere, with no cares, and too many fears
this has been building for years, before i knew you
i could feel you yanking my heart
twisting my gut, looking for that place to start
where my hands should begin to caress your chin, and your waist, then
your face, and my mind wouldnt stop, first me, then you on top..
it was over too soon, even though it happened so fast,
I can either remember or regret, this is now in the past.
but we can still laugh.
